Compass Minerals Values Inclusion and Stands Against Racism

With the issues of racism and injustice prevalent in the news, it has further highlighted the fact that there is much work to do as a society to ensure all people feel equal and safe. Black communities are acutely feeling the pain resulting from this societal failure. As an organization, we are committed to doing our part to address this challenge.

At Compass Minerals, we believe everyone has a voice and every voice matters. We believe each individual has worth. We believe our employees, customers, shareholders, partners and community members should be treated fairly. We believe discrimination in all its forms must end.

To help demonstrate this commitment, Compass Minerals’ President and CEO Kevin S. Crutchfield is joining other CEOs around the world in signing the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge. CEO Action recognizes that change is needed and it leverages the collective voices of leaders to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

“By signing this pledge, we acknowledge the opportunity and accept the responsibility for the important role we must play as ambassadors for change,” said Crutchfield. “Additionally, Compass Minerals is providing financial support to organizations peacefully fighting injustice and racism, and working to close the gap on the way people are treated and the opportunities provided to them.”
